A boat carrying up to 100 bass has been caught off the coast of Florida.
The boat was spotted Sunday night fishing in the Gulf of Mexico near the town of Port Canaveral.
It’s not clear what caught the fish, but they are believed to be from the same species that are common in the ocean off Florida.
Authorities say the boat has been towed to the coast and will be towed to an airport to be inspected.
The fishing boats were spotted fishing on the beach by a family member, according to CNN affiliate WFTV.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has also been notified.
The Department of Agriculture, Fish and Wildlife is assisting with the investigation.
The fisherman and his family were not injured, but authorities say the incident could be a potential example of human-caused climate change.
The family is from South Carolina, CNN affiliate WSOC reported.
The NOAA Fisheries Service was not immediately available for comment.
