BASS CLAIR CONNOR and his wife KATHERINE are back in the studio with their latest clarinet recording.
This time, they are taking a new approach to their work.
“There are so many great sounds to be found in the world, but if you can’t find them, then maybe you should find something else,” said Connor.
Connor has been making clarinet recordings in his studio for the past 20 years, with an emphasis on the subtleties of string instrumentation.
“The world is filled with so many wonderful instruments and instruments can be just as beautiful, and it can be fun and easy to learn,” he said.
“So what’s the best instrument to learn?”
“The best instrument that I know to play is the clarinet,” he added.
“It’s the instrument that is most familiar to me.
It’s also the instrument I like to play.”
Connor, who plays the clarinets on a daily basis, said he was inspired by the works of legendary clarinetist, violinist and conductor Antonio Stradivari.
We’ve been playing together for a long time, and I thought, I can take this one sound and combine it with some other sounds, and see what I can do with it,” he continued. “
Then I thought of my wife, she’s a bass clarinet player.
We’ve been playing together for a long time, and I thought, I can take this one sound and combine it with some other sounds, and see what I can do with it,” he continued.
Conforto has been recording his clarinet for the last two years.
“Now I’m a bit more used to making music with a piano, so when I’m working with a clarinet, it’s really easy,” he explained.
“You can really concentrate on the music, and you can focus on the sound, and when you’re able to get the sound down, you can make it sound like a real instrument.”
Confortos new clarinet is called “Pour de L’Ange,” which translates to “Pouring the Ange.”
It is produced by Confortas band, the Confortoes, which consists of bassist Christopher Confort, drummer Scott Condon and guitarists Michael Ehrlich and Paul Confort.
“We’ve had a really good time recording it,” Confort told ABC News.
I think it’s great to have a little more freedom, more freedom to explore.” “
And it’s an instrument that can be used for so many other things.
I think it’s great to have a little more freedom, more freedom to explore.”
Connello and his team are currently working on a new record.
“This is really an exciting time for me,” he noted.
“When we’re not recording, we’re all doing other things, and that’s when I really feel the best of what we’ve got is here.”
